What Were looking for:
EROAD is seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead the eRUC Programme with direct responsibility for achieving commercial outcomes and overseeing cross-functional programme delivery. This pivotal leadership role will coordinate resources across product management government affairs engineering and commercial teams (both solid and dotted line) and manage external partnerships with insurers telcos and other stakeholders. The eRUC opportunity represents a large scale and change in business model to a B2C approach that is core to the programme. The General Manager will assist the CEO to drive the commercial success and market adoption of the eRUC initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Leadership & Delivery
Own full lifecycle delivery of the eRUC Programme aligning objectives with EROADs strategic vision
Lead cross-functional programme teams coordinating resources from product management engineering government affairs and commercial functionsina new model of B2C that is of a scale and approach that is not currently developed in EROAD.
Set and drive delivery timelines risk management performance metrics and regular reporting
Champion agile outcome-focused programme execution
Commercial Management & Outcomes
Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the eRUC Programme ensuring revenue growth profitability and successful market positioning
Drive commercial partnerships lead negotiations and draft agreements with insurers telcos and other partners
Ensure compliance with regulatory legal and contractual frameworks
Track and deliver against financial KPIs and commercial milestones
Stakeholder & External Relations
Represent EROAD in high-level discussions with government departments industry groups and media
Build and sustain strong relationships with external stakeholders and internal teams
Act as a trusted leader and spokesperson for the eRUC Programme in external forums
Go-to-Market & Growth Execution
Collaborate with marketing sales product management and partners to launch and grow eRUC offerings
Develop and deliver partnership strategies to accelerate adoption and expand market presence
Identify new business opportunities to drive growth in road user charging solutions
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in programme management and commercial leadership ideally within transport technology or infrastructure sectors
Strong track record in delivering commercial outcomes and launching consumer-facing products
Demonstrated success in managing partnerships and engaging with government or regulatory environments
Exceptional communication stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams at all levels
Knowledge of road user charging systems and transport policy
Experience working with insurers telcos or similar commercial partners
Familiarity with agile programme delivery digital platform management and go-to-market execution
