Integration Engineer (Supportability) - Submarines

What you will be doing
The Integrated Product Support Integration team is focused on making sure that the support solution for future designs of submarine is set up to optimise boat availability and cost. Key activities include design influence identifying and integrating key support activities (e.g. maintenance spares support equipment etc) and producing technical documentation.
Supportability influence is a key business topic at present. It is a vitally important we get the support solution right for Dreadnought SSNA and beyond.
The projects will be incredibly fast paced with delivery dates which are challenging. It is essential the applicant is pragmatic proactive and comfortable with managing ambiguity. This is an exciting time to join what is a growing part of the Services DBU.

You will work as part of a team consisting of other lifecycle engineers with knowledge across mechanical safety & systems as well as utilising support from other functions around the Submarines Business as and when required.
The role requires working across enterprise boundaries (including with MoD and Babcock) and provides the opportunities to work across the full range of the CADMID cycle from influencing the design early on to optimising the support through life.
