Tractor Driver

Key operational accountabilities include:

Operating big tractor engaged in transfer of produce bins and other containers.
Participate in the inspection grading sorting storage and post-harvest treatment of crops.
Perform basic set up and operation of irrigation equipment.
Apply pesticides herbicides or fertilizers to crops.
Clean and maintain irrigation ditches.
Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of vehicles assets and equipment.
Perform farm labouring and maintenance tasks.
Perform daily pre-start checks.
Record information about crops.
Dig and plant seeds or transplant seedlings by hand.
Harvest fruits and vegetables by hand.
Load agricultural products into trucks or storage facilities.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

Current unencumbered Drivers License and transport.
Forklift license desirable.
Chemical Accreditation (ChemCert) desirable.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
Team player who can work effectively with people from different backgrounds.
Awareness and ability to adhere to WHS requirements.
Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets.
Good written and verbal communication skills
