About The Opportunity

At Bundaberg Regional Council were proud of our region and the people who make it thrive. As our Business Liaison Officer youll help strengthen the link between Council and the local business community supporting sustainable growth advocacy and collaboration that makes Bundaberg a better place to live work and invest.

In this role you will:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local business owners industry groups and government stakeholders.
  • Deliver and support business engagement initiatives and economic development programs.
  • Provide advice insights and feedback to inform Councils planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate activities prepare reports and contribute to policies that help our business community succeed.

About You

What were looking for:

  • A confident communicator and connector who enjoys working with a wide range of people.
  • Tertiary qualification in business commerce public administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement economic or community development or business advisory services.
  • Sound analytical organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and deliver outcomes.
