South Houston Nissan is seeking an experienced New Car Sales Director to join our dynamic team of professionals!!!
Job Summary:
The New Car Sales Director at Nissan is primarily responsible for supervising and motivating Nissan Sales Professionals as well as promoting encouraging and teaching strategies to sell vehicles.
Supervisory Responsibilities Overseas all team members on the New Car Sales Team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with dealership General Managers to forecast goals and objectives for the sales departments. Support in preparing and administering a growth minded strategy.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and management meetings.
- Support dealerships in recruiting hiring training motivating counseling and monitoring the performance of all sales employees.
- Develop and organize a training schedule as directed by the GMs to ensure that each sales team member completes role specific training.
- Guide sales teams in setting their department and individual objectives on a weekly monthly and annual basis.
- Assist sales team with meetings proposals and follow-up to grow sales.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills both oral written and electronic.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Service-oriented ability to stay calm even when dealing with difficult customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Office and other electronic communications such as email text video calls etc.
- Inventory control software
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a sales manager for a dealership.
- Minimum of 2 years leading a high performing sales team.
- Experience in F&I is highly desired but not a requirement.
- Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Must be 22 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid in-state drivers license.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit stand walk kneel crouch stoop squat twisting upper body use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
