Description

The Global Services Department is a service organization dedicated to supporting leaders members and the workforce.

Position performs the full range of processing clerk assignments including resolving all types of discrepancies some of which may require communicating with other offices outside of the unit. Maintains records documents and files insuring their accuracy referring only the most complex issues are referred to higher levels for resolution. Serves as a role model in fulfilling the Churchs mission with compassion toward others and an attitude of devotion to God.

This is a full-time (40-hour/week) position. Under current hybrid working arrangements the person in this position is requiredto work in the office once a week (as designated by division) or more depending on business needs; therefore must live close.

Responsibilities

Data Entry & Accuracy (35%)

  • Input transactions into designated systems with precision and adherence to established protocols.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing by monitoring queues to meet performance standards.

Communication & Collaboration (20%)

  • Respond to internal inquiries across the Collaborative Cloud.
  • Engage in training team meetings and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide courteous detail-oriented support aligned with organizational values.

Documentation & Process Maintenance (10%)

  • Maintain and update procedural documentation to ensure operational continuity by contributing to the development and refinement of team Knowledge articles.
  • Support procedural compliance and continuous improvement efforts.

Analysis & Problem Solving (10%)

  • Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to uphold data integrity.
  • Identify and resolve basic errors; escalate complex issues appropriately.

Workflow Management (10%)

  • Organize and prioritize tasks to align with team and departmental objectives.
  • Review and approve transaction batches per policy; ensure timely updates to membership and financial records.

Administrative Support (5%)

  • Perform clerical duties
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Independent & Adaptive Work Style: Demonstrates initiative adaptability and sustained focus during extended computer-based tasks.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office; familiar with membership and finance systems.

Attention to Detail: Maintains high accuracy and organization in repetitive tasks.




Qualifications

Associates degree with 3-4 years of experience or High School diploma with 5-7 years of experience. Performs duties with minimum supervision; duties and assignments are non-routine. Must have the ability to adapt policies and procedures to meet the more complex requirements of the position. Must be able to work at a computer station for long periods of time.
