Job Description Summary
Our Asset Services Finance team is looking for a new member to join its team in Madrid.
On this occasion as Senior Accountant your mission will be to support and coordinate the financial operations of a portfolio of assets ensuring that accounting and reporting processes are accurate timely and compliant with both Cushman & Wakefield and client requirements.

- Act as a financial reference point for the client providing accurate accounting information and responding to financial queries.
- Coordinate day-to-day accounting activities ensuring deadlines are met for reporting invoicing and payment cycles.
- Collaborate closely with the Property Management and Asset Management teams to ensure consistency in financial data and documentation.
- Prepare and review financial reports ensuring data accuracy consistency and traceability.
- Support internal controls and audit processes maintaining financial records in Yardi (invoicing expenses budgets supplier and tenant information etc.).
- Ensure compliance with internal and client financial procedures including:
- Rent and bond updates
- CPI adjustments
- Monitoring of guarantees and debt follow-up
- Contractual documentation and financial clauses
- Liaise with external and internal stakeholders including accountants and auditors to ensure correct financial reporting and controls.
Knowledge & Experience
- University degree in Business Economics Finance or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting controlling or audit functions (within the real estate sector will be a plus)
- Strong knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan; familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
- Experience using ERP systems (Yardi SAP or similar).
- Advanced Excel and solid command of the Office package.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
