Youll work closely with both corporate and site-based teams supporting financial integrity compliance and performance in a complex multi-entity environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller the Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for group reporting consolidation and ensuring strong financial governance. Youll play a key part in the monthly and annual reporting cycles while supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead month-end and year-end financial reporting and consolidations
- Ensure compliance with AASB/IFRS and robust internal controls
- Review site performance and provide meaningful insights to management
- Oversee balance sheet integrity reconciliations and audit processes
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and reporting
- Partner with operations and commercial teams to enhance business performance
- Mentor and guide junior finance team members
About You
Youll bring a strong technical foundation an eye for detail and the confidence to partner across the business.
Key requirements:
- CA/CPA qualification ideally from a Big 4 or Big 6 background
- Strong post-qualification experience in a complex multi-entity or mining environment
- Exposure to Pronto or similar ERP systems
- Excellent technical accounting and analytical skills
- Proven management or team leadership experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
