Description

FarmaKeio Albuquerque Compounding Pharmacy is seeking an experienced and professional Retail and Customer Service Specialist to be the welcoming face of our advanced 503A compounding pharmacy!

This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist all customers with a friendly and helpful attitude ensuring their needs are met quickly and effectively.
• Process sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately managing cash credit and insurance payments.
• Keep the retail area clean organized and appealing making sure product displays are well-stocked and follow brand standards.
• Work with pharmacy leaders to execute seasonal promotions new product launches and sales events while confirming all displays meet regulatory requirements.
• Help manage inventory by receiving stocking and organizing merchandise.
• Handle incoming phone calls directing inquiries and providing administrative support to the pharmacy team.
• Inform customers about over-the-counter products and services using your strong product expertise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2 years of experience in a customer-facing retail role such as a cashier sales associate or customer service representative preferably in drug stores pharmacies or gas stations.
• Proven strong customer service skills with a track record of positive customer interactions.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills. Proficient in English and Spanish languages.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions.
• Basic computer skills; experience with retail software systems is a plus.
