Job Description
Mechanical Engineer / Workshop Engineer / Maintenance Engineer required to join a global. leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Mechanical Engineer / Workshop Engineer / Maintenance Engineerwill provide service maintenance repair and overhaul of industrial pump systems and associated rotating equipment at the workshop near Crewe.
The Mechanical Engineer / Workshop Engineer / Maintenance Engineer will have a general mechanical engineering background or strong interest in mechanical systems with hands-on ability in fitting assembly maintenance or repair. Full training provided.

Workshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Maintenance Engineer role:
Provide service maintenance repair and overhaul of industrial pumps at the workshop.
Ensure all pump products are in line with specifications before leaving the workshop for delivery.
Carry out inspection and testing of equipment returned to branch including fault finding and diagnostic work.
Complete technical documentation as work progresses.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Commutable to the workshop in Winsford.
Workshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
Experience as a Workshop Engineer Workshop Fitter Maintenance Engineer Mechanical Fitter Service Engineer Technician Junior Engineer Apprentice Engineeror similar.
Good general mechanical knowledge with the ability to learn industrial pump systems.
- Engineering qualification such as HNC HND or Apprenticeship is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong mechanical interest or hands-on background.
Willingness to commute to the workshop daily in Winsford.
