Consults on analytical solutions to understand analyze and synthesize requirements goals and objectives relative to data and business intelligence needs and to enable high-quality fact-based business decisions to drive better business outcomes. Provides advice on the configuration functionality applicability and usability of data management data analytics and data visualization technology solutions. Supports the development of the strategy and roadmap for data quality and data analytics data modeling reporting business intelligence and the design and development of sophisticated decision support tools.
Leads or contributes to the design implementation and management of new analytics and reporting tools and solutions.
- Designs and develops advanced analytical solutions to support business decision-making.
- Produces regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively across various LOB partners.
- Breaks down complex business problems and analyzes data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Structures data across multiple dimensions and integrates information from various sources to enhance analysis and reporting.
- Monitors data pipelines conducts quality tests and resolves issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Builds visualizations and graphics to clearly present data-driven insights trends and facts.
- Develops solutions aligned with business strategy and stakeholder needs contributing to strategic initiatives.
- Prepares and presents dashboards and visual reports to stakeholders translating complex data into clear actionable insights tailored to diverse business audiences.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders documents processes and maintains operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and experience in data preparation data analysis and statistical tool sets including but not limited to SAS PowerBI Looker SQL Google Cloud Platform Google Analytics Python
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
- Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
- Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
- Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.
- Data driven decision making - In-depth.
Salary:
Pay Type:
The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards.
