We are seeking to hire an experienced Resource Manager for our RWS Medical Affairs team. The role-holder will need to be a committed individual who combines high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills.
They will thrive in a fast-paced environment be comfortable managing conflicting priorities and have the gravitas to influence a team of senior stakeholders. The environment is dynamic and ever-changing moving at the pace of our clients needs and the RM will be expected to understand the sense of urgency that is synonymous with the business.
The individual will work across the RWS Global Medical Affairs business portfolio to:
Drive Capacity Planning & Demand Management improving consistency and visibility in resource and capacity planning across all business units.
Develop and implement demand management processes to support workforce planning and future resourcing needs.
Create and maintain standardized resource management processes for Medical Affairs applicable to all pillars and new acquisitions.
Develop a playbook for integrating new acquisitions into resource management and utilization tracking including interim solutions for teams not yet on PSA.
Ensure process flexibility to accommodate unique needs of each acquisition while maintaining overall consistency.
Coordinate with multiple teams to align timecard guidance and resource management processes.
Facilitate process alignment and standardization across business units ensuring efficient and consistent practices.
Organize and deliver PSA training for new teams and joiners ensuring smooth onboarding and adoption of resource management tools.
Promote and support consistent use of RM dashboards and reporting tools across all teams.
Drive adoption of standardized reporting infrastructure providing guidance and support to maximize data quality and efficiency.
Act as a strategic advocate for both short-term fixes and long-term solutions in resource management technology and processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business-specific needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Support ongoing process improvement and ensure flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements
Education Skills Experience & Specialised Knowledge:
5 years experience in staffing / resource management (or related) roles ideally in a professional services environment.
Strong written and spoken English language skills.
Proven problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to build strong business relationships and influence with key stakeholders at all levels within the business.
A self-starting mind-set with excellent team-based interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently with the full spectrum of our people.
Ability to demonstrate determination diplomacy and resilience.
Ability to rapidly assimilate multiple types of information from a variety of sources for effective decision making.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of life sciences or experience in a M&A environment would be a plus.
