Requirements:

Proven experience as a Health & Safety Officer (preferably in a manufacturing or textile environment).
In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.
Relevant Health & Safety qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with health & safety legislation.
Maintain and update Health & Safety policies risk assessments and safety procedures.
Provide safety training and awareness to staff.
Investigate incidents accidents and near-misses and recommend preventive measures.
Liaise with management and regulatory bodies on all safety matters.
