Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Officer (preferably in a manufacturing or textile environment).
- In-depth knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.
- Relevant Health & Safety qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with health & safety legislation.
- Maintain and update Health & Safety policies risk assessments and safety procedures.
- Provide safety training and awareness to staff.
- Investigate incidents accidents and near-misses and recommend preventive measures.
- Liaise with management and regulatory bodies on all safety matters.
