Job Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant to join a well-established group of this role you will be responsible for the management of day-to-day accounting operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge who can thrive in a dynamic multi-entity iGaming business.
The right candidate for the role must have extensive experience from working within igaming / fintech and previous experience of working in Malta.
Salary: 44-53K depending on experience
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records including journal entries reconciliations and accruals
- Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement schedules
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing ensuring compliance with IFRS
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory filings
- Liaise with auditors and tax advisors
- Ensure adherence to internal controls accounting standards and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices payrolls and transactions
Education Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Accounting / Finance
- Professional certification (ACCA CFA or CPA) is required for to be considered for the higher end of the salary
- 5 years of accounting experience of which 3 years in Fintech / iGaming
- Experience from working with international multi-entity companies
- Experience of working in Malta and handling reporting with Maltese authorities
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements in the EU
- Proficient with ERP systems
- Able to work independently and coordinate with internal teams auditors and external advisors
- Excellent attention to detail organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
About the Role
- Salary 44-53K
