Head of English Lead Whole-School Literacy Strategy and Academic Rigour in an Inner-City School Hackney
A dynamic and rigorous secondary school in Hackneyrequires an exceptional Head of English committed to driving whole-school literacy and academic rigour from January 2026.

Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a degree in English (Post-graduate qualification desirable)
- Proven experience at Second in Department or existing Head of Faculty level
- Demonstrable track record of achieving top grades at A-Level English
- Capacity for inspiring leadership and effective staff line management
