Job Summary
A leading 1118 secondary school in Bath rated Outstanding by Ofsted is seeking a passionate and inspiring Music Teacher to join their successful Performing Arts Department from January 2026.
About the Role
The appointed teacher will deliver Music across KS3KS5 preparing students for both GCSE and A-Level examinations while developing their performance composition and listening skills. They will play a key role in leading musical ensembles concerts and productions that enhance the schools creative culture.
The role also includes mentoring student performers organising workshops with professional musicians and contributing to school events such as carol services recitals and arts festivals.

Experience and Qualifications
- QTS/PGCE and degree in Music or related discipline
- Strong background in performance conducting or composition
- Experience teaching Music at GCSE and/or A-Level
