About the Role
The school is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Reception Teacher for a maternity cover position. You will provide high-quality play-based and structured learning experiences that build childrens confidence independence and foundational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging EYFS lessons tailored to individual needs
- Supporting childrens development in literacy numeracy social and emotional skills
- Maintaining accurate records and tracking progress
- Creating a stimulating and safe learning environment
- Collaborating with colleagues parents and support staff to enhance learning
- Contributing to school events enrichment activities and school-wide initiatives
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic patient and nurturing with a strong understanding of early years pedagogy. You should be able to inspire children through creative learning and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and families.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher or EYFS/early years qualification
- Experience teaching Reception or EYFS
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Legal right to work in the UK
