About the Role
The school is seeking a patient enthusiastic and creative Reception Teacher for maternity cover. You will plan and deliver EYFS lessons support childrens social emotional and cognitive development and work closely with colleagues to maintain consistency and high-quality learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons
- Observe assess and record pupil progress
- Support childrens social and emotional wellbeing
- Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment
- Engage parents in pupils learning and development
- Contribute to enrichment activities and school events
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a teacher who is nurturing creative and adaptable with a strong understanding of early years pedagogy. You should be able to engage children through play-based and structured activities while fostering a love of learning from the start of their educational journey.
Requirements:
- EYFS or early years teaching qualification or QTS
- Experience teaching Reception or EYFS
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Legal right to work in the UK
