About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Year 6 Teacher ideally with leadership experience. You will lead a year group plan and deliver engaging lessons and prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lessons across the Year 6 curriculum
- Leading a year group coordinating planning assessment and pastoral support
- Tracking pupil progress and reporting to parents and leadership
- Promoting high standards of behaviour engagement and learning
- Contributing to enrichment activities school trips and wider school life
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is inspiring organised and confident with experience in KS2 leadership and classroom management. You should be able to motivate pupils support colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Year 6
- Leadership experience desirable
- Legal right to work in the UK
