Summary of Role:
Our client is a public sector organization undertaking a large-scale modernization of its payment and technology systems. This multi-year initiative involves several concurrent procurement projects and detailed planning to support implementation and transition activities across multiple stakeholders and partners.
The Project Manager/Leader is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager in organizing and managing projects. This includes coordinating project activities managing scheduling and ensuring that project deadlines are met. The Project Coordinator works closely with the project team members and stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements deadlines and schedules are on track.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages assigned tasks to contribute to the delivery of the Clients Security Projects.
- Supports Senior Managers/Senior Project managers through all stages of definition procurement and implementation and ensures adherence to technical and quality requirements budget schedule and approvals.
- Ensuring project team adheres to provided timelines and deliverables.
- Ensuring documentation is maintained throughout the length of the project.
- Communicating plans actions risks and issues with key stakeholders
- Solving any issues that may arise during the project.
- Managing and building relationships with multiple teams
- Assisting the Project Manager with administrative functions and processes
- Managing day-to-day activities for the Project Management team
- Analysing project data and producing progress reports
Must Haves:5 years experience in the following:
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey ideas manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across teams and leadership.
- Organizational & Planning Abilities : Experience in managing complex projects with multiple dependencies timelines and resources - ensuring delivery within scope and budget.
- Leadership & Team Management: Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams resolve conflicts and foster collaboration to drive successful project outcomes.
- Experience with project management software and tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Azure DevOps)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and MS Project)
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure and security-related projects
- Bachelors degree in business administration Project Management or a related field.
Hourly Rate Range:- 75.00/hourly-85.00/hourlyCAD
Location Requirements:- On-Site 5 days per week at the office Downtown Toronto
Contract Requirements:- 6-month contract starting on November 03
