Job Description: Human Resource Generalist
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process by posting job openings reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate and schedule new employee orientations and ensure necessary paperwork is completed.
- Maintain and update employee records including personal information attendance and performance records.
- Administer various HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
- Assist with employee relations issues including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HRIS systems.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and federal/state labor laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Desired Experience
- Experience with HRIS systems and software.
- Previous experience in the packaging or promotional industry.
- Experience with recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Certifications in Human Resources (e.g. SHRM-CP PHR).
