Job Summary
About the Role: As a Functional Technician with our Robotics Team you will play a crucial role in the assembly fabrication and testing of complex robotic systems and components. This position combines hands-on technical work with collaborative problem-solving in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Shift: 2nd Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm
Key Requirements:
Electro-Mechanical inspection and rework experience.
Proficient with test fixtures and DAQ Systems.
Ability to read interpret and worth with engineering documentatin and/or drawings.
Experience with technical documentation & hardward standards (SAE Metric ASME)
Key Responsibilities:
Execute assembly and fabrication of complex manufactured products following established procedures
Perform troubleshooting and debug activities on manufacturing products. Gather and analyze data from various sources for problem resolution. Troubleshoot standard tasks and escalate complex issues when necessary
Conduct PCBA inspection rework and circuit board modifications
Set up and execute test fixtures and DAQ systems. Read and interpret engineering documentation and drawings
Fabricate cable harnesses and assemble electronic boxes
Assist in training new hires and junior team members
Maintain quality standards and contribute to process improvements
Document discrepancies and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with hardware standards (SAE Metric ASME)
Perform hardware inspections and first article builds
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient in reading and understanding English
Competency with basic hand tools and measurement equipment
Basic computer skills for data entry and software operations
Physical ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 50 pounds frequently
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Understanding of basic hardware standards (SAE Metric ASME)
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
Basic technical communication skills
