Position Summary
Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking four experienced Journeyman Industrial Electricians to join a long-term infrastructure refurbishment project at a wastewater treatment facility in Phoenix AZ. This is an immediate opportunity for skilled electricians who have a background in industrial environments and are familiar with the specific demands of water and wastewater systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical installation repair and refurbishment tasks on industrial wastewater treatment systems
Pull wire install conduit (EMT/Rigid) terminate panels and work with control systems
Assist with motor control centers (MCC) VFDs and electrical distribution systems
Read and interpret electrical drawings one-lines and schematics
Maintain compliance with all NEC codes and site-specific safety regulations
Support troubleshooting and commissioning activities as required
Work closely with supervisors and site management to ensure project milestones are met
Preferred Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician License (strongly preferred but not required for all candidates)
Previous experience on water/wastewater treatment plant (WTP/WTF) projects
Minimum 4 years of industrial electrical experience
Strong conduit bending and wire pulling skills
Familiarity with PLCs MCCs and VFDs a plus
Must have own basic hand tools and PPE
Ability to pass background check drug screen and site onboarding
Reliable transportation and availability for a full 6-month project
