Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cath Lab team on a PRN basis. As an RN in the Cath Lab you will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced high-stakes environment. This role requires strong clinical skills the ability to make quick decisions and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess plan and implement individualized patient care for those undergoing catheterization procedures.
Provide continuous monitoring of patients during procedures and post-procedural recovery.
Collaborate with cardiologists surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications monitor vital signs and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Educate patients and families about the procedures and recovery process.
Maintain sterile technique and ensure the integrity of the procedural area.
Document patient care and observations accurately and promptly in the patients medical record.
Respond quickly and efficiently to emergent situations.

Required Qualifications:

Current RN license in the state of Hawaii.
BLS and ACLS certification required (must be current).
Experience in Cath Lab or related critical care setting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
Strong communication interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
