Job Summary

Job Title: Angular Web Developer - Specialist (Mid-Level)

Location: Raleigh NC 27699 (REMOTE)

Duration: 12 months contract

Role Summary: Angular Web Developer to assist existing contractor to develop troubleshoot support and maintain migration of NC ECHO site from to Angular.

Position Overview Web Applications Developer:

A portion of the NC ECHO application was implemented utilizing Angular JS which is a discontinued free and open-source JavaScript-based web framework. Support for Angular JS ended in January 2022.

The application also utilizes Breeze an open-source component used to communicate between Angular JS and the data. This component is also no longer supported.

While the application is still working we urgently need to move to a solution that can be supported. The business and ITD believe the most sustainable course is to rewrite the impacted sections of the application using .NET.

The rewrite will require someone skilled in Angular JS Breeze and .NET.
