Job Duties
This position ensures a clean safe and healthy environment within a hospital setting by performing daily cleaning and sanitizing duties. This role directly contributes to infection control patient comfort and overall safety by maintaining high standards of cleanliness in patient rooms common areas restrooms office areas and other facility spaces. Responsibilities may include waste disposal floor care dusting disinfecting surfaces and reporting maintenance needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in housekeeping.
Additional Considerations
Experience working in housekeeping in a healthcare or institutional setting.
Experience is training and mentoring new housekeeping staff.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards specific to healthcare facilities such as those from OSHA and state health departments.
