This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our clients a Senior Traffic Engineer you will play a crucial role in delivering transportation projects that are safe efficient and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on state local government and private projects primarily in the transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct traffic analysis and modeling
Lead traffic design efforts
Manage projects from inception to completion (if joining as Project Manager)
Foster communication and collaboration among stakeholders
Engage in public outreach initiatives
Ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations and standards

Preferred Skills Experience and Qualifications:

Strong technical expertise communication and leadership abilities
Excellent problem-solving skills
Willingness to collaborate in a team environment
Ambition to grow within the organization
Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
Proficiency in traffic analysis and design software
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook etc.)
4 years of progressive experience in traffic engineering
B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Minnesota (or ability to obtain)
Certification as a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE)
