Job Summary

Job Title: Technician

Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 1 Year (Possible Extension)
Location: Rice Creek Central 7000 Central Ave NE Minneapolis MN 55432
Shift: 1st Shift (8 AM 5 PM)

Overview:

This role supports mechanical and electrical testing for CRM and Neuro division products such as pacemakers defibrillators loop recorders and leads. Responsibilities include performing complex product testing ensuring conformance to standards collecting and analyzing test data and documenting results with precision and accuracy in a regulated (FDA/ISO) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct mechanical electrical environmental fatigue and packaging tests.
Set up troubleshoot and operate test equipment (drop/shock/vibe systems chambers oscilloscopes multimeters generators).
Plan and prioritize test schedules to optimize resources.
Communicate project updates test results and potential issues clearly.
Document test results in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
Participate in audits and occasionally support offsite testing (including weekends).

Top Skills:

Ability to follow written test guidance accurately.
Strong willingness to learn and collaborate in a team environment.
Experience with testing (electrical testing preferred).

Technical Skills & Tools:

Instron Oscilloscopes Environmental Chambers Multimeters Soldering EMC/High Voltage Testing Calibration & Metrology Test Method Validation

Education & Experience:

Minimum: HS Diploma/GED with technical/vocational training.
Preferred: 2 years testing experience (medical device preferred).
Knowledge of FDA regulations ISO/IEC 17025 standards and good documentation practices.
Experience performing tests interpreting data and preparing technical reports.
