Job Summary:
The Red Hat AI Platform Product team is looking for a technical product manager for inferencing. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and is willing to become a subject matter expert on Generative AI Models and inferencing with open source technologies such as vLLM. Experience with or educational background in generative AI concepts and Large Language Models is required. Strong interest and background in model inferencing as product manager developer or performance engineer with proven hands-on experience is recommended.

What you will do:
Gather input from users and analyzing competitors to develop and prioritize the product roadmap.
Write requirements epics and user stories for the engineering team and collaborating with them and the open-source community to guide product development.
Work with sales marketing and other stakeholders to launch new AI solutions. This involves creating technical content like blogs demos and whitepapers.
Act as a subject matter expert by presenting at conferences participating in webinars and engaging with customers to showcase the products value.
What you will bring:
A bachelors degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience) along with hands-on Linux skills and experience with open-source projects.
A strong understanding of Generative AI Large Language Models (LLMs) and model inferencing is essential.
Excellent written verbal and presentation skills are required to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
The role demands self-motivation the ability to manage multiple priorities and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a remote global and cross-functional environment.

Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location experience applicable skills and training external market value and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hats compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus commission and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
