PositionOverview
Vertiv Global Learning Data Analytics and Technology (DAT) team is seeking a Learning Technology Analyst to support our modern workplace global digital learning platform. This role focuses on maintaining data quality within our Learning Management System (LMS) developing automations and providing technical consultation for learning solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders across Vertiv company functions to optimize LMS features and ensure data integrity while supporting training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
LMS Data Management & Quality:
- Execute and maintain data cleaning processes within the LMS
- Implement data quality standards and best practices
- Perform mass data updates and corrections
- Monitor and maintain data integrity across learning programs
API & Automation:
- Utilize Postman for data updates and retrieval where native LMS admin functions are insufficient
- Create automated workflows to connect LMS with other applications and data sources
- Test and validate automation processes
- Maintain documentation of API implementations and automated workflows
No-Code/Low-Code Development:
- Develop applications using tools like Google Appsheet
- Create applications external to the LMS to support Global Learning program needs
- Maintain and update applications as business needs evolve
Technical Consultation:
- Provide technical consultation for learning initiatives requiring integration with external tools or software
- Guide stakeholders on solutions involving multiple systems and complex processes
- Recommend and implement technical solutions for cross-platform training needs
- Support the development of integrated learning solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science Information Systems or related field
- OR equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Strong experience with Learning Management Systems and their administrative functions
- Demonstrated experience in data cleaning and quality management
- Proficiency in API testing and implementation using Postman
- Experience in creating and maintaining automated workflows
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience in documenting processes and creating technical specifications
