The Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic student who is eager to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology in the field of electron microscopy.
The Intern plays a vital role in bridging the gap between hardware and software development. This intern actively engages in technical discussions conducts exploratory research and tests innovative solutions to enhance the capabilities of the system. Additionally they are responsible for acquiring a comprehensive understanding of microscope electronics thereby gaining a detailed and in-depth knowledge of the subject matter. Furthermore this person collaborates closely with Electrical Engineers FPGA Engineers and Software Developers to ensure that the final functionality meets the requirements and addresses the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Participation in advanced development projects.
- Testing of workflows new hardware features and solutions reporting the results.
- Developing testing debugging and implementing C/C code.
- Developing Python scripts especially for testing purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor or MSc in a technical field.
- Curiosity about a work on microscopy hardware and software development.
- Knowledge of C/C programming and implementation of common communication protocols with UART SPI I2C etc
- Willingness to study embedded software development includes knowledge of architecture of microcontrollers CPLDs FPGAs SoCs and MPSoCs.
- Familiarity with Python is an advantage.
- Competent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
- Result oriented teammate used to work in dynamic environment flexible.
