Opportunity to join Natural Resource Access Regulator (NRAR) enforcing the NSW water laws and offering guidance and education to help water users comply. NRARs ICT team is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Business Analyst to document and analyse the organisations business processes assessing the feasibility of alternative solutions and recommending new approaches to enable business improvement.
With strong stakeholder management critical thinking and deep experience and understanding of compliance and investigations process the Senior Business Analyst focuses on developing innovative practical solutions and improving internal processes to ensure operational outcomes.
The role quickly develops an understanding of organisational processes and data engages closely with operational staff and supports the technical team to keep work on track.
About You
You are an experienced Business Analyst with strong skills in process and systems mapping and have experience working with diverse stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into fit for purpose actionable solutions.
You have a good understanding of Compliance and Investigations management systems and experience applying process improvement methodologies to achieve measurable outcomes.
You are naturally a good communicator with the demonstrated ability to establish relationships with stakeholders to develop trust and ensure reliable and accurate information.
You are self-motivated and have a genuine interest in keeping abreast of policy changes that impact system effectiveness and changing technologies and business processes.
Experience in water or natural resource investigations and compliance would be an advantage.
