Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to enhance and automate Excel-based processes used for cataloging APIs at PNC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing advanced Excel macros to streamline data import deduplication and merging thereby eliminating manual efforts. Additional knowledge of API Management platforms like Google Apigee IBM API Connect or Tetrate Service Mesh is highly desirable to help contextualize and integrate API data effectively. Develop and maintain robust VBA macros to automate Excel workflows for API logic to detect and eliminate duplicate records across solutions for seamless import and merging of multiple API data with infrastructure and API teams to understand data collection points and cataloging or reference data from API Management platforms (e.g. Apigee IBM API Connect Tetrate).Perform validation testing and optimization of macros to ensure accuracy and automation logic usage instructions and maintenance guidelines for long-term SkillsTechnical SkillsStrong expertise in Excel VBA macro development with additional familiarity in API Management tools such as Google Apigee IBM API Connect or Tetrate Service SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise between business stakeholders and IT problem-solving abilities to identify and implement system to detail with the ability to analyze complex business processes and technical to work independently and manage multiple priorities interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams and clients.
