Job Summary
The Associate Director Student Wellness oversees the Wellness Education and Prevention Program at University of Portland and will provide visionary leadership and strategic management of student wellness promotion. This position plays a pivotal role in developing and advancing a culture of holistic well-being across campus by implementing programming that empowers students to thrive emotionally mentally physically and spiritually. The Associate Director collaborates with internal and external partners to implement inclusive data-driven and evidence-informed health promotion strategies addressing key focus areas including but not limited to emotional well-being alcohol and drug education sleep nutrition sexual violence prevention and general addition to program development and implementation this position is responsible for supervising staff strategic planning and assessment policy development and budget management. This position reports to the Director of the Health & Counseling Center. This full-time position works a 11month assignment period from July 1 thru May 31 with benefits eligibility for all 12 months of the year.
