Commercial Lines Agent
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and customer-focused Commercial Lines Agent to join a growing team. As a key member of an agency you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones. The agency specializes in providing a wide range of insurance solutions including commercial personal and group benefits with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and a family-like culture.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $2200 - $3000 per month for entry-level candidates; higher compensation available for experienced professionals.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k).
Responsibilities
- Drive sales by growing the book of business and bringing in new clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring their insurance needs are met.
- Work on a variety of accounts with a focus on commercial lines including contractors.
- Handle accounts ranging from small to large with some exceeding $100000 in premium.
- Collaborate with a team of licensed professionals to deliver exceptional service.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in insurance production is highly preferred.
- Open to candidates with captive insurance experience.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong drive to succeed will also be considered.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Goal-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with insurance software is a plus.
