The Role: Software Development Engineer in Test III (SDET III)

The Location: Gurgaon/ Hyderabad

The Team:
The team works in the SAFe agile environment and adheres to all principles of Agile. As Senior SDET you will work with a team of intelligent ambitious and results-oriented software professionals. The team is independent in driving all decisions and is responsible for the design and quick turnaround of development of our products with the highest quality.

The Impact:
In the Senior SDET role you will make a significant contribution in building solutions to test across data platforms API web and services platforms using efficient data comparison methods. Your challenge will be to reduce time to market for products without compromising quality whereby leveraging automation/performance testing as well as innovation. You will use a wide range of technologies and have the opportunity to interact with different internal/external teams.

Responsibilities:
o Design and develop test strategies/test cases based on acceptance criteria execute test cases analyze and communicate test results to the team/manager

o Design and develop automation/performance/load testing solutions that meet organization standards for APIs/services database and web
o Expertise in testing large scale distributed cloud based systems in a continuous integration environment.
o Experience quality assuring solutions targeting Amazon Web Services (AWS)
o Experience quality assuring solutions targeting Kubernetes and/or microservices
o Build reliable reusable and maintainable automated regression suites & test harnesses
o Implement CI/CD by integrating automation builds in development pipelines
o Perform in-sprint automated & performance/load testing to fulfill the Definition of Done
o Participate actively in functional system and regression testing activities
o Work in the agile environment attend and contribute to all scrum ceremonies (daily scrum sprint planning backlog refinement and retrospectives)
o Present work during sprint reviews to wider IT Product and Business audience
o Ensure best practices are followed and testing activities stay on schedule
o Capture test metrics
o Work with team members in other geographic locations
o Investigate new testing methodologies keeping abreast of latest advances/techniques

What were looking for:
o Bachelors/PG degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent.
o 7-10 years of experience in software testing or development with good understanding of testing coding and debugging procedure
o Experience in programming using Java & other languages e.g. Python C#
o Experience in design and development of automated tests using automation tools (e.g. Selenium) across the application layers (UI/Service/Data layers)
o Experience in API testing using Postman Rest-Assured (preferred) Ready API and Soap UI
o Experience in performance script creation using Jmeter (preferred) Load Runner/Performance Center
o Experience with source control tools such as GIT TFS SVN
o Experience with cloud technologies (AWS)
o Experience with CI Engines (Jenkins) including distributed build system management and understanding of the pipeline system
o Proficient in Agile QA methodologies defect management system and documentation.
o Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
o Strong communication skills and ability to deliver clear concise documentation and presentations

o Knowledge of AI and Generative AI frameworks tools and applications with the ability to leverage these technologies to drive innovation and efficiency is a key asset.

o Excellent problem solving analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
