CNC Machinist Milling & Turning
Location: Bristol
Contract Type: Full-time Permanent
TEC Partners are working with a precision engineering company in Bristol who are looking to expand their skilled machining team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing business that supplies high-quality components into the aerospace and advanced engineering sectors.
Youll be responsible for producing complex high-precision components using state-of-the-art CNC machinery working to tight tolerances and exacting customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls and/or 3- 4- and 5-axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls.
- Manufacture high-complexity precision components from a variety of materials.
- Interpret and work accurately from engineering drawings.
- Ensure all work meets stringent quality standards and specifications.
- Inspect components using micrometers verniers plug gauges and other precision measuring equipment.
- Maintain a safe clean and efficient working environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience setting and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and manufacturing techniques.
- Confident interpreting engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Experience in the aerospace sector (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team.
