Whats on offer

Fulton Hogans joint venture with JF Hull Holdings and McIlwain has been awarded the construction contract for the Coomera Connector Stage 1 Central project is set to be one of the largest road infrastructure projects in South-East Queensland which will run between Coomera and Nerang and is jointly funded by the Federal and Queensland Governments. The central package will deliver a six-lane eight-kilometre section of the project between Helensvale Road and Smith Street Motorway and will change how Gold Coast residents get around and improve journeys between the growing communities. It will also mean more reliable travel times between Brisbane and the Gold Coast by alleviating congestion by removing up to 60000 local trips a day from the M1 Pacific Motorway.

Reporting to the Project Manager and based in Helensvale QLD our Northern Region Construction business is seeking a suitably qualified Site Engineer to ensure designated areas of works are delivered in accordance with time cost and quality objectives.

Your Contribution

• Quality assurance site surveillance activities including measuring inspections etc.
• Ensure quality procedures are followed and support team members to follow processes.
• Assist with preparation and implementation of work packs to ensure safe efficient and compliant activities.
• Resource co-ordination inc. material allocations test requests reconciliations procurement etc.
• Productivity and cost tracking analysis.
• Implementing monitoring and reporting against weekly targets.

You will hold a bachelors degree in civil engineering or equivalent tertiary qualifications and possess demonstrated experience working on major Civil Engineering projects. Detailed planning and construction staging skills and strong communication and stakeholder management skills coupled with the ability to take ownership and problem solve when under pressure will set you up for success. Knowledge of Primavera P6 advantageous.
