Job Summary

As a UI/UX Software Engineer Intern you will be a part of the Remote Piloting Software Team. This team is responsible for building the pilot-facing application software that is used to command the aircrafts advanced automation systems both onboard and remotely. You will join a team of interdisciplinary and mission-driven engineers with experience across aerospace robotics and self-driving vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Work with peers and users to identify needs establish constraints and iterate on designs for user centered interfaces
- Prototype and implement applications for testing controlling and supporting our automated aircraft systems
- Test interfaces to validate the usability and reliability of safety-critical systems
Basic Success Criteria
- In progress college-degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Digital Product Design or similar
- Experience with web development and design (HTML CSS and JavaScript)
Preferred Success Criteria
- Experience with the web ecosystem and core technologies particularly in realtime and data-driven applications
- Familiarity with user centered design and design applications such as Figma Sketch and Adobe products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail

The location of the position is in Mountain View CA. No travel is required. The estimated annualized salary for this position is $120000.
