Project Overview:
Craig Technologies is the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) partner on the Bechtel and Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Craig Technologiess scope of service in Sentinels current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.

Job Summary:
Perform pipe stress analysis using AutoPipe. Coordinate with Pipe Support Engineers and Layout personnel as required. #LI-SNH
Major Responsibilities:
Essential duties include performing pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code.
The stress work includes the modeling of the piping systems to verify piping flexibility stability and qualification of equipment nozzle loads.
Work closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.
Working knowledge of dynamic analysis and ASME B31.3 or B31.1 Codes.
Evaluates selects and applies standard plant design and piping engineeringmethods techniques procedures and criteria using independent judgment in makingadaptations and modifications.
Participates in reviews and recommends approval of designdrawings and data for compliance with requirements.
Analyzes problems with conflicting design requirements sketches ideas and possiblesolutions.
Analyzes and reports on the suitability of unconventional materials techniques and/ordifficult coordination requirements.
Coordinates plant design engineering efforts in assigned areas with specialty groupsengineering disciplines the client vendor contractors construction and other functionalgroups.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Level I:
Bachelors degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
Level II:
Bachelors degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
EIT certification or PE registration preferred.
Previous Craig Technologies and/or DOD/DOE project experience preferred.
Must be a US citizen.
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment education and travel.
Working knowledge of dynamic analysis and ASME B31.3 or B31.1 Codes.
Prior experience using pipe stress analysis program Bentley AutoPipe.
The salary range for this role is $110000 $155000; however Craig Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer for employment including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
