Summary of Responsibilities
The credit services specialist works with all Avenue5 ancillary suppliers ensuring accounts are setup and all products and services are sourced and delivered timely in a cost-efficient manner. This role is responsible for assisting in the setup of ancillary accounts for new properties and coordinating closure of such accounts when properties are sold or no longer managed by Avenue5. This role is also a support system to all properties to provide resident screening assistance.
Primary Responsibilities and Objectives
Assist internal teams in help desk queue for screening related questions and issues
Assist with setting up key ancillary services accounts for new properties
Coordinate closure of supplier services when properties are sold or no longer managed by Avenue5
Facilitate training for property and corporate associates for all ancillary programs (where applicable)
Act as liaison for internal teams as related to ancillary services integrations and on-going service issues
Assist with other programs within the credit services department
Complies with all company national standards applicable health and safety rules and regulations as well as applicable local state and federal laws
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
High school diploma is required. Bachelors degree in business-related field is preferred.
One to two years of property management experience is preferred
One to two years of experience in Yardi Voyager or other equivalent system is preferred
One to two years of experience in Salesforce or other equivalent system is preferred
Skills and Requirements
Intermediate level knowledge with MS Office Suite including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel (including Excel functions)
Proven ability to firmly manage challenging situations negotiate pricing improve quality reduce lead times and strengthen partnerships with quality suppliers
Possess a basic understanding of supply chain management concepts
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detailed oriented and a desire to learn
Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses if assigned
Scheduling Typically normal business hours Tuesday - Saturday
Environment
Exposure to environment typically found in an office building
Exposure to hot cold wet humid or windy conditions (temperatures may vary depending on the weather in the different regions)
Exposure to noise vibrations atmospheric conditions as well as working in confined or restricted spaces
Potential exposure to communicable diseases through frequent contact with public
Possible exposure to short-tempered or aggressive people
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift push and pull up to 25 pounds
