Platform Engineer

Role Overview

As a Tech Developer in the STP Tribe you will lead the design development and delivery of -based solutions that support Euroclears digital transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for guiding a team of developers ensuring technical excellence and aligning solutions with business goals and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the design and implementation Core applications
• Define and enforce coding standards architecture patterns and best practices.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and Azure DevOps integration.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.

Solution Architecture

• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Product Owners to define system architecture and integration strategies.
• Ensure alignment with the STP Tribes hybrid agile operating model and technical roadmap.

Quality & Testing

• Promote test-driven development (TDD) and ensure robust unit and integration testing.
• Ensure performance security and scalability of applications through proactive design and testing.

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning retrospectives PI planning).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA DevOps and Business Analysts.
• Support delivery planning and contribute to quarterly tribe-level objectives.

• Languages: C# .NET 6/7/8 MVC/Web API
• Frameworks: .NET Core Entity Framework CQRS SAGA
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure (Azure DevOps Service Fabric OpenShift)
• Databases: SQL Server MongoDB Kafka
• Tools: Git Jenkins SonarQube Docker Kubernetes

Architecture & Design

• Strong grasp of software design patterns clean architecture and microservices.
• Experience with RESTful APIs gRPC and service orchestration.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Certifications: Microsoft Azure (AZ-204 AZ-104) PSM I PRINCE2 Foundation.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments is a plus.
