The Opportunity

We are searching for 2 motivated Sysops/System engineers to join our team in Riga Latvia. You can work from our office in Riga or remotely as long as you are located in Latvia.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux/RedHat systems in Worldlines production environment
• Ensuring high performance in accordance with SLAsMonitor troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues
• Perform regular system updates and patch management
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
• Maintain compliance with PCI DSS and other relevant security standards in the Linux environment
• In a Cloud context responsible for deploying managing and operating systems on the Cloud platforms
• This position requires on-call duties according to rotational shift as this is support to business-critical systems

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change step up and show whats next people with passion can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and practice this means:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer
• Expertise in RedHat CentOS and Linux administration
• Understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices with hands-on experience using tools like Ansible Terraform etc.
• Experience in business continuity and disaster recovery planning
• Advanced problem-solving skills proactive mindset and ability to optimize system performance
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken
• A proactive analytical team player capable of working independently and taking ownership of tasks
• Experience within financial services or payment processing is considered as a plus
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is considered as an advantage
