The Opportunity
We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Executive Chef to join the pre-opening leadership team at The St. Regis London. This is a rare opportunity to shape the culinary identity of one of the most anticipated luxury hotel openings in the this pivotal role you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operationsfrom menu creation and food preparation to team development and financial performance. You will lead with creativity and precision delivering exceptional dining experiences across our restaurants bars banquets and in-room dining. With a passion for excellence and a flair for innovation you will define the culinary standards that reflect the elegance and sophistication of the St. Regis brand.
Key Responsibilities
Leading Kitchen Operations
Lead and inspire the culinary team across all outlets
Ensure seamless day-to-day operations and consistent food quality
Foster a culture of collaboration trust and excellence
Serve as a role model of integrity and leadership
Review staffing levels to meet service and financial goals
Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff
Culinary Vision & Standards
Curate and evolve menus that reflect St. Regis sophistication
Monitor quality of raw and cooked products to meet brand standards
Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation regulations
Maintain purchasing receiving and food storage protocols
Prepare and cook foods of all types for regular and special occasions
Guest Experience
Champion service behaviors that exceed guest expectations
Engage with guests to gather feedback and elevate satisfaction
Empower staff to deliver personalized anticipatory service
Respond to and resolve guest concerns with professionalism
Financial & Strategic Oversight
Manage food costs supplies uniforms and equipment budgets
Participate in strategic planning and goal setting
Develop and implement purchasing and receiving guidelines
Ensure safety procedures and standards are understood and followed
Talent Development
Mentor and develop culinary talent across all levels
Conduct performance reviews and training programs
Collaborate with Banquet and Catering teams on menu knowledge
Administer disciplinary procedures and support peer review processes
