Lead Consultant (PowerFlex SME)

About the role

As a Computacenter Lead Consultant you will provide transformative technology solutions to visionary companies focusing on architecting deploying and optimizing both VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and Dell PowerFlex environments. You will leverage deep expertise in VCF (including vSphere vSAN NSX Aria Suite and SDDC Manager) and Dell PowerFlex to deliver high-quality private and hybrid cloud solutions integrating advanced capabilities and supporting multi-vendor technology ecosystems.

You will work within an industry-leading sales and technical team to understand client needs and craft sustainable roadmaps. From strategy to fulfillment and managed services you will help clients leverage VCF and Dell PowerFlex to achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Annual Salary range: $150K - $170K USD

What youll be doing

• Lead architecture design deployment and optimization of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and Dell PowerFlex solutions.
• Integrate advanced VCF 9.0 capabilities and Dell PowerFlex features into enterprise environments.
• Conduct workshops knowledge transfers and lead internal technical training and evangelism for VCF and PowerFlex.
• Oversee integration with third-party storage network security backup and automation tools including Dell PowerFlex.
• Create and deliver technical documentation architectural blueprints best-practice guidelines and modernization roadmaps for VCF and PowerFlex.
• Participate in or lead pre-sales efforts technical scoping proposals and RFP responses for VCF and PowerFlex projects.
• Maintain deep familiarity with VMwares evolving VCF portfolio and Dell PowerFlex advancements driving use of advanced services and integrated automation.
• Troubleshoot multi-vendor issues create remediation plans and plan execution for VCF and PowerFlex environments.
• Achieve and maintain industry and partner-focused certifications as they relate to VCF and Dell PowerFlex.

What you have

• 5 years of professional experience in large enterprise environments with a focus on designing deploying and managing complex VMware Cloud Foundation and Dell PowerFlex infrastructure solutions.
• Must be proficient in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and Dell PowerFlex with hands-on experience deploying and managing integrated cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Professional vendor certifications are highly preferred including:
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Network Virtualization (NSX)
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Data Center Virtualization (vSphere)
• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) certification
• Dell PowerFlex Specialist certification
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and Dell PowerFlex: Strong understanding of VCF components and PowerFlex architecture with the ability to design and deploy integrated cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex VCF and PowerFlex concepts in customer-facing discussions internal education sessions and industry conferences.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with Pre-Sales Delivery and application teams ensuring seamless integration of VCF and PowerFlex solutions.
• Customer-Focused Delivery: Demonstrated confidence in delivering customer-facing discussions providing clear and actionable insights into VCF and PowerFlex solutions.
• Project Leadership: Ability to lead VCF and PowerFlex project teams ensuring alignment with project goals timelines and customer expectations.
• Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current with VCF Dell PowerFlex and broader virtualization and networking technologies.
• Subject matter expert within your focused technology stack.
• Ability to deploy complex multi-technology solutions.
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting (bash/zsh/sh).
• Experience with troubleshooting in large complex environments.
• Experience and/or understanding of Disaster Recovery Business Continuity and High-Availability concepts.
• Experience and/or knowledge of current industry-accepted Backup and Recovery concepts and practices.
