About the opportunity
The Social Media Coordinator will use their in-depth knowledge of social media data audiences and trends to coordinate content across the Universitys social media channels as well as contributing towards and executing paid content activity. The Coordinator will leverage analytics tools to extract meaningful insights identify patterns undergo benchmarking and create reports as required. Collaborating with teams across the university the role will stay updated on industry trends and changes in social media to adapt strategies to elevate the universitys social media presence.
What youll do:
- Manage the social media schedule day-to-day coordinating content in alignment with insights.
- Writing (when necessary) and approving content with optimisations in mind.
- Monthly reporting on organic performance on social media channels and college specific content and additional reporting as required.
- Work collaboratively with the campaign team to create and execute a paid social media content marketing strategy.
- Maintain the budget for paid content marketing and provide reporting and maintain recordkeeping of spend.
- Undertake other duties to support the social media team when required as directed by the social media manager.
What were looking for:
- A bachelors degree in marketing Communications Journalism Public Relations or a related field is often preferred.
- Demonstrated track record in successfully leading social media analysis trend identification and content strategy implementation preferably in a marketing or digital agency setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using social media analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics Facebook Insights Twitter Analytics) to extract and interpret data.
- Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g. Facebook Ads Manager LinkedIn Ads) and understanding of paid campaign optimisation techniques.
- Experience with using social media platforms and/or third party tools to create and schedule content
- Professional experience writing for social media and an eye for detail.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 6 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $116872 comprising base salary within the range of $92120 to $99891 plus 17% superannuation.
