Minimum Qualifications:

License to practice psychology as issued by Ohio State Board of Psychology per Section 4732.12 or 4732.15 (A) of Ohio Revised Code.

What youll do at DBH:

• Provides psychological services to clients at NOPH; performs assessments including interviewing administering scoring interpreting & reporting results of psychological tests; provides psychological interventions to individuals & groups including psychotherapy behavioral interventions psychosocial rehabilitation skills training & family intervention.
• Serves as liaison to or participates in treatment teams; consults with treatment teams to ensure needs for psychological services for all clients are met; works with teams to ensure treatment plans relevant to psychology services are well developed; participates in treatment team meetings as needed; provides or arranges for provision of psychological services called for in treatment plans; writes treatment plans.
• Develops programs; independently develops & works with other staff in developing & implementing programs of mental health services; develops structured & integrated programs such as behavior therapy psychosocial rehabilitation & family programs.
• As directed conducts research or participates with other staff in programs of research relevant to work of facility.
• Serves on committees & work groups as appointed; participates in meetings & functioning of psychology department; completes special assignments.

This is anhourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union)with a pay range of#15on the1199Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are 8:00 am- 4:30 pm. This position is located within our Northwest Behavioral Healthcare CampusNorthwest Behavioral Healthcare Campus at 930 South Detroit Avenue Toledo Ohio 43614930 South Detroit Avenue Toledo Ohio 43614.

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
