Position Overview:
The PA will assist in evaluating diagnosing and managing a variety of neurological disorders in both outpatient and hospital settings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented compassionate and eager to grow in a collaborative clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct neurological assessments review patient histories and assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Provide follow-up care for patients with chronic neurological conditions.
Support inpatient consultations as needed.
Work closely with supervising neurologists nurses and other clinical team members.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis medications and ongoing management.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Maryland.
Prior neurology experience preferred though strong new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
