Full-Time or Contract Opportunity
Urology San Antonio is seeking a highly qualified Medical Physicist to support our growing radiation oncology nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging programs at our San Antonio Cancer Center.
The ideal candidate holds dual Texas licensure in Therapy and Medical Nuclear Physics is ABR or ABMP board certified and has preceptor experience in PET/CT. Responsibilities include equipment QA for LINAC PET/CT and future PAE systems; ACR physics audits and phantom scanning; acceptance testing and annual calibrations; and ensuring compliance with TDSHS and NRC regulations.
This position may be structured as full-time or contract and will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary oncology and imaging teams to maintain safe compliant and high-quality care.
Requirements:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Medical Physics (CAMPEP-accredited)
- Dual Texas licensure (Therapy & Nuclear)
- ABR or ABMP Board Certification
- Experience with PET/CT preceptorship QA and ACR accreditation
- 3 years of clinical experience preferred
