Job Summary
Position: Body Shop Support Technician
We are seeking a dependable motivated individual to assist in our body shop. As a Body Shop Support Technician you will be responsible for cleaning vehicles assisting with general shop tasks and supporting the team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and grow with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities over time. Automotive experience is a plus.
We are looking for someone who is reliable and ready to step up with potential for additional responsibilities in the future.
Pay Rate: $15-$17 per hour with the possibility of a 90-day increase based on performance.
Essential Duties
Cleaning and prepping vehicles for work.
Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects such as dents scratches torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation.
Uses proper eye hand and body protection when using products that require protection.
Keeps the work area neat and clean.
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
Other tasks as assigned.
Experience and Qualification
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong teamwork skills
- Hard working & dependable with a great attitude
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Must have clean & valid drivers license
